HILL? FOUNDER OF THE "PT" PHILOSOPHY Maybe Expat World should start our story with who W.G. Hill is and the what is the "PT" philosophy and then progress into WHERE IS W.G. HILL. Dr. W.G. Hill is the founder, leader, guru of the PT philosophy/movement. This philosophy/movement started in the late 1980's and is alive and well today, albeit with some necessary changes due to the "New WorldOrder" we live in today. To put it basically, the PT philosophy is a way of living a stress-free life free of government interference. But more detail is called for to really get a grip on being a PT. Let EW ask you, do you want to escape the control over your life and property now held by modern Big Brother government? The PT concept could have been called Individual Sovereignty, because PTs look after themselves. They don't want or need any authorities dominating every aspect of their existence from cradle to grave. The PT concept is one way to break free. In a nutshell, a PT merely arranges his or her "paperwork in a manner that all governments consider him a tourist -- a person just Passing Through. The advantage is that by being thought of by government officials as a person who is merely "Parked Temporarily", a PT is not subjected to taxes, military service, lawsuits, or persecution for partaking of innocent but forbidden pleasures (unlike most citizens or subjects, the PT will not be persecuted for his beliefs or lack of them. PT stands for many things: A PT can be a "Perpetual Tourist" or "Permanent Traveler" if he or she wants to be. The individual who is a PT can stay in one place most of the time. Or all of the time! PT is a concept, a way of life, a way of perceiving the universe and your place in it. One can be a full-time, dedicated PT, or a part-time PT. Some intelligent readers may not want to break out at once, or become a PT at all. They just want to be aware of the possibilities, and be prepared to modify their lifestyle in the event of a crisis. Knowledge will make you sort of a PT -- a "Possibility Thinker" who is "Prepared Thoroughly" for the future. Freedom from government (the arbitrary whims of sometimes deranged politicians), and from the destructive powers of rampant bureaucracy is the essence of PT' or individual sovereignty. PT is merely an arbitrary set of initials chosen to identify a certain lifestyle, belief-system, or whatever you choose to call it. There are no dues to pay, no membership cards, and no meetings or conventions. Quite a few PT's exist already, Perhaps a million. Perhaps ten million. No one will ever know, how many PTs there are, because they are all invisible. Many PT's have not heard the initials PT being used to describe their lifestyle nor will they ever read the dynamite book of W.G. Hill's, call PT. They are none-the-less PTs, though they may have stumbled onto the PT path of enlightenment and freedom on their own. It will be impossible for any government to attack or wipe out PTs, because we are an amorphous group without consistent behavior patterns. >From the point of view of any government official, we appear to be the most desirable kind of tourist: respectful of laws and authority, low profile, and prosperous (but not too prosperous). Thus, unlike some publicity seeking individualists or tax rebels, a PT courts no danger, invites no confrontations. A PT cannot be identified, classified or isolated from the general run of tourists. In terms of politics, the PT may be a supporter of any party or political philosophy. Most likely he is not a registered voter anywhere, and he never marches in demonstrations. He probably believes in free trade and minimum government. Fascists, democrats, republicans, socialists and communists all end up producing centralized bureaucracies with severe restrictions upon personal liberty. Thus, most PTs tend to be individualists of libertarian stripe interested in maximizing their own personal freedom. PTs seek the full and free enjoyment of life without robbing, defrauding, exploiting or leaning on anyone else. Governments, under the guise of protecting us, have intruded into every area of life, taking the largest part of our earnings in taxes and then rewarding us with little aside from restrictions and harassment. All modern governments these days have virtually eliminated individual privacy. They have limited freedom of choice in many areas of human activity. Each country has its own unique restrictions. The PT throws off these shackles. PTs, Persons of Talent, can at a few strokes of the pen be truly free of Big Brother. Seeking freedom release from proletarian dictators, ambitious politicians, emperors, occupying armies, ruling classes, tyranny of the majority or bureaucracy, PT is the natural solution. EW could go on for 200 more pages like the book PT by W.G. Hill. EW will tell you at the end of this article how you can get the book at an unbelievable discount. But first, the question is: Where is W.G. Hill? One of our editors has known personally the guru W.G. Hill from the earliest days of the PT movement and in the early days communicated rather regularly. But, since Hill's retirement about 10 years ago or so, it is on the rare occasion that he gets a short, anonymous posted message from W.G. basically telling our editor that he is still alive and well but just living out his life as a PT and taking in the finer things of life -wine, women and song, so to speak in excessive quantities. Although being a little long of tooth now-a-days he is still the silver tongued, sexy stud to many "natives" around the world. EW has no idea where W.G. Hill is at, only that he travels the world at his whim, living a PT lifestyle and enjoying his "retirement." If we had to hazard a guess we would scour the South Pacific in the areas of Tahiti, Fiji or Vanuatu looking for signs of man who Passed Through and left his mark on the wanting women of the area. HOW DO I GET THE BOOK "PT" You could go to Amazon.com or some other used book website and pay up to $250 for this book OR you could get US $1500 in value of Hill Book's including PT all on a CD Rom formatted for both PC's and Mac's for only US $100. (BBC) ----- TRAVELLER'S TALES DUST TO DUST: A package of white powder was found on the window sill of a home in Nelson, New Zealand. Householders Bob and Lorraine Fisher called police, who sealed off the area and donned protective gear to take the package-suspected to be anthrax or heroin-to the police station. Then the phone rang at the house. "A girl from the vet rang and asked us if we had got the parcel on the window sill," said Mrs. Fisher. It contained the cremated remains of their cat Mandy. "She had dropped off Mandy's ashes on the way home. Bob just rolled off the chair laughing," she told The Nelson Mail newspaper. Constable Steve Hopkinson defended their actions. "It could have been a drug deal gone to the wrong house or an anthrax scare," he said. ----- It's easy to have a complicated idea. So, I have summoned you three here, because you are the most important people in my life, and I need to ask a favor. Today, I am going to give each of you an envelope with $50,000 dollars inside. When I die, I would ask that all three of you throw the money into my grave." After the man passed on, the three people happened to run into each other. The doctor said, "I have to admit I kept $10,000 dollars of his money. He owed me from lots of medical bills. But, I threw the other $40,000 in like he requested. "The Priest said, "I have to admit also, I kept $25,000 dollars for the church. It’s all going to a good cause. I did, however, throw the other $25,000 in the grave." Well the Lawyer just couldn't believe what he was hearing! "I am surprised at you two for taking advantage of him like that. I wrote a check for the full amount and threw it all in! - There once was a dog named Tax.
